Midsouth Bartlett Tryouts

Players interested in trying out for a Midsouth Bartlett team, whether new to the program or a returning player, need to complete the online registration.

Tryouts are open. Anyone eligible for membership in Tennessee Soccer, US Club or USSSA Soccer is eligible to tryout.
Players are evaluated on skill, athleticism, attitude and ability.
Midsouth Bartlett staff coach(es) will attend tryout sessions and be available to answer questions.
Players should make every effort to attend both tryout sessions and should communicate scheduling conflicts with
the coach/administrator that is conducting your age group tryout. If a schedule conflict with tryouts exists, the parents can arrange for other opportunities to tryout by contacting the coach.

Player Notification

All players will be notified within three days of the last tryout date. Players receiving an invitation will follow the instructions
provided in the email.

Player Acceptance

Players that receive an invitation to play and choose to accept the invitation, will submit the Acceptance Packet with a non-refundable deposit of $375 on or before Monday, June 16 (the official binding date).

Team Formation & Player Placement

Spaces are limited by the number of players that tryout and accept invitations.

Under 9 & 10

Teams will be formed based on the number of qualified players that accept invitations. If an age group has enough players to
form more than one team, the players will be grouped by ability and placed on teams. Although a coach may practice an age
group together, the team roster will remain static for the year. Players in an age group may be asked to guest play for the other
team(s) in the age group.

Under 11 & older

Teams will be formed based on the number of qualified players that accept invitations. If an age group has enough players to form more than one team, the players will be grouped by ability and placed on teams designated as Navy team and Red team. Although a coach may practice an age group together, the team roster will remain static for the year.
Players in an age group may be asked to guest play for the other team(s) in the age group.

Team Training

• Midsouth Bartlett teams play soccer three times a week (practice, match, tournament, skills sessions)
• Midsouth Bartlett teams practice at one of three venues – Appling, Bartlett Blvd Soccer Park, Freeman Park Multi- purpose fields. Combined teams may have combined practices at facilities in Arlington or Lakeland

The Cost of Soccer

As director of Midsouth Bartlett I feel that it is important to let the parent know the true cost of playing competitive
soccer. Midsouth Bartlett will be using an Online Registration payment processing system. Checks will be accepted if
Club Fee is paid in full. Listed below are the different monies that will be collected and the purpose of the collection.
